vista file copying, deletion issue

i was having really slow speeds while copying and deleting files. now after this update its almost same as xp if not same.

this update is not availabe either on windows update or microsoft downloads..KB931770

yes cause they say its not really a fix and it requires more testing [havnt we hear same for all fixes othertehn Service Pack]

whats funny is they say they will not charge if user can prove they r having this problem, and everyone i know has this problem, and ppl who doesnt complain are actually so busy with either the looks or other problems of this troubled OS.

It doesn't look good for MS and vista if they admitted a mistake(1 gig file transfer)

Vista is supposed to better, SP1 will probably fix it tho.

Wonder if it's a driver issue?

I know a few people who want a laptop but refuse to buy one with Vista on it. I say good opinion

could be as coping files from my printers reader takes ages to copy, while same card in my camera plug into via usb copy in lightspeed.

hp doesnt have drivers yet for my photosmart 7760.
but then the card reader is already installed by vista itself... so who knows.
