Mouse, Trackball or other?

I'm on the PC every day for several hours...matter of fact I just had to put them in the recharger a few minutes ago.

whats the diff between optical and laser?

Besides their tracking speeds, laser mice work on nearly every surface, whereas optical mice may experience trouble tracking on black or shiny surfaces

I tested several kinds of plastic(scraps from a sign shop) for my MS optical/scroll mice, I found a heavy matt finish black to be the best

my grey matt plastic table didn't work at all

I use a trusty mouse pad with the picture of a train on it from work....no mouse pad at all on the PC at work. Wonder where that thing got to?

i threw my mouse pad in the bush. this must be an optical mouse, works on blACK, gets screwy only once in a blue moon, just have to lift and lower to correct. cordless would be nice, but they are so expensive...who can afford it?

Yep...I see it now, but I'm able to click my own attatchment. I see your in the disc quality thread as well. Perhaps there are some server issues/updates atm.
