Well, I see I am in the minority here; Only one trackball user - thought there would be more. Don't you guys get tired of rolling that little critter all over the desktop? <BR>

I gave the trackball a shot at a friends house, but kept biting my tongue everytime I tried to get the pointer where I wanted it.

          touch pad on a laptop
I had to buy a little optical mouse with retractable cord for the laptop...couldn't stand the touch pad and the scroll feature stopped working on firefox for some reason.

I prefer my corded trackball mouse, my first one lasted me 5 years and I have had this one now over a year. The cordless ones rely on batteries too much and then you have to keep the optics clear, and if you can find my desk your in luck, lol.

i use wireless duo from dell, both mouse opti and keyboard are cordless.

i have lot of AA rechargables around and i keep them charged due to my camera requirments so no problem here when i see red light on reciever i just change the battries.

my keyboard runs twice or more then my mouse. which is around a month of use or less.
Seems like as soon you buy somehing, v. 2 comes out 1.5 times as fast!..!
