I use Google a lot and I saw a link advertising free software. I downloaded them all in one package and they lagged my PC. I got rid of them and my PC is running better now I've got rid of the rubbish.
I do want to add this. When I uninstalled one piece of software as a step-by-step stage, I got a folder on my Desktop all of a sudden called %SystemDrive% and that was odd. I went into it and I have a location that's this. %SystemDrive%/Documents and Settings/DARREN/Application Data/Microsoft/SystemCertificates/My When I go into the My folder I have three folders and they are called Certificates, CRLs and CTLs. Certificates, CRLs and CTLs are empty folders. Does anyone know what happened here and is the %SystemDrive% folder safe to delete from my Desktop? Even though it's on my Desktop, it doesn't have an arrow in it as a Shortcut.
Please help somebody.
