I have movies on my hard drive that are avi files. I wont to burn them to a dvd but the files are way too big. Can you shrink dvd files that are already on your computer or can you just shrink the ones that are already on a disc. I can not figure this process out. I have been trying everything. Can someone please help me? Thank you so much.

You should be able to use a program such as DVD Flick to do this. If you have multiple files though, you may want to break them up a bit so that the quality won't suffer too much on the final product.
