    Hi Gary,

    I recently started using GIMP, which came bundled with linux. While I don't know all the "ins & outs" of it yet, I have been satisfied with it so far.

    BTW, Nice avatar! Firefox all the way! lol

      Gimp just keeps getting better and better I have seen some amazing stuff done with it.Here are some great tutorial sites Katz

      3. Gimp Dome
      4. pixel2life
      5. deviant art -Fencepost (if there is any thing you need to know this is the guy to seek out.He is the freaking master when it comes to gimp you can also find him on gimp dome).
      I use both linux and windows gimp they are both great although I would love to use linux more but I am having a hard time getting online with aol dialup

        Fencepost is a wealth of knowledge!!! I have had a hard time with Gimp, but he's really been helping me out with his tutorials.

        For photo manipulation I use Photo Deluxe that came packaged with my first Epson digital camera. For creating Fractals, I use UltraFractal 4.04 and Apophysis. Here is an example from Apophysis...

              I love this little add-on, been using it for awhile, very handy and its MS and it works..

                    Thank you for having initiated in me an interest towards Fractal art. I have started dabbling with Tierazon.And boy,is it addicting!! Here are a few toddler steps :

                        Thanks.But these are probably mundane stuff to experts.Fractals have literally innumerable possibilities. BTW,anyone interested in Fractals can try Tierazon.It is freeware.
