    Problem with GSA-H10N

    Hi,

I use a LG GSA-H10N JL10 for my burning activities..! Lately the driver has gone mad! Nero burning rom 6.5 won't start, and ImgBurn returns error codes while I'm trying to burn an image.

After some research I decided to upgrade my firmware to JL12. However, when I run the .exe from LG it says that: " Can't find the taregt drive ". The upgrade button doesn't work and there is no drive available in the dropdown list. My drive is on the secondary IDE in master and it is the only device on the secondary ide cable.

    Can somebody help me?

    Thanks

      Yes!

However, I cannot read DVD film or burned data, and i cannot read CD with burned data on it.

make sure all the cables are tight and in good shape

there's a sticky at the top of this forum on the nero info tool, check the drive out with it?

The flash doesn't see the drive in safe mode.

Did you check the connections? I just had the same thing happen with my daughter's machine. I shut it down, took the side off, checked the connections, put the side back on & started it back up. The Samsung burner now shows in My Computer & everywhere else.
