    Attempts at uninstall/reinstall:

I have tried to use the prog's uninstall, restart and still there,

I have ran AVG & Ewido just to see if there was anything affecting my pc nothing, I have also done a disc clean and a defrag and restart.

Reason for removal= Itunes and Ipod software would not open stated that it had an error and I needed to debug, tried that and still could not access this prog, Cannot reinstall as everytime I try to reinstall from orig. cd it states error need to debug.

Are you logged onto your computer as an administrator account???

You could try Cedrick's Unlocker. Get it here.

If all else fails, try deleting it from safe mode.

Sometimes using only the Add/Remove or using the programs' uninstall utilties still leaves remnant files which regenerates the program at reboot and start-up).

I've found that the best way to uninstall everything is to use the search and purge from My Computer. I search for the program or file (including in hidden folders), then manually purge/delete every instance of the program I want to delete from that search list that comes up.

Doing this after you used the uninstall utility or the Add/Remove function does the most thorough job in cleaning out everything associated with the program you want to delete. If a program folder won't allow deletion because a .dll file or another file causes it to be undeletable, I find that particular file within the folder itself, delete that file, then you can go out and will be able to delete that folder...

Then...running CCleaner to get rid of leftover missing shortcut links, invalid or unassociated files, will complete wiping any traces left floating around on your system...

That has worked for me on everything, including Nortons Anti-Virus which is considered one of the toughest to completely delete from your system...

Actually, the Symantec/Norton's site has an awesome uninstall tool. I have used it many times and it works wonderfully.

            Hi folks,

@ GaryD ... THANKS for the Cedrick tool.

@ MikeyB ... Q: with CCleaner ... can you inadvertantly delete something that you are not supposed to!?!?

            Thanks,
            G!

Todays giveaway of the day: http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/

Cleanse is a program uninstaller that finds and remove even the most stubborn of programs. Uninstall faster, easier and more completely than you do with other programs.
About C-Cleaner, if you save your changes to your registry before cleaning it, then you are able to reinstall the changes. I would recommend running this part of the program multiple times until it does not find anything. Sometimes the program will find stuff on the 2nd and 3rd pass that the previous pass had cleaned up.

Reference Cleanse Uninstall. I downloaded & installed this AM & it was version 2.5 but it let me update to 2.7 with no problems. This afternoon I helped somebody else download & install, the version was 2.7.

@trishbaby, do you have Paint & is the image saved. If it is Go Advanced & use Manage Attachments.

Shouldn't you only need to use it once then?

I try to avoid any app that actually requires a separate uninstall tool. ATI Catalyst Drivers and Nero are prime examples.

                        Hi Chewy,

Thanks for your feedback on the activation ... I have one more Q ...

Q: After Activating ... Can I re-use this program (Setup.exe) 2 months down the line on my new laptop? Or whatever I have on my desktop and that is it!?!?!?

                        Thanks,
                        G!
