@locoeng, I do have one or two friends south of the border, I am thinking of, LOL.

@Chewy, although I am full up on Memory, you have pointed out what I am getting at. The Canadian dollar now is closer but yet it's $73 there & basically $175 here. Even if I pay the exchange rate & shipping because obviously no free shipping to Canada, you have to like the savings.

@soup, if your really serious maybe we can arrange something. Though it would probably have to be a one time thing. Wouldn't want my house to look like a warehouse or something. I was at Newegg just a couple of weeks ago and at Meritline two days ago (returning stuff). The problem I seem to have when buying online is sometimes items get damaged in freight. I haven't had to visit Supermedia Store yet. These companies are about 20 miles from me, the problem is the damn traffic if I try to go there in the afternoon. Give me a pm if this is something your interested in.

I chatted with newegg this morning. Newegg is not participating in this HP rebate and HP said the newegg price and buying it at newegg does not qualify for the rebate. The price for the printer @full retail in a participating reseller or from HP themselves where the rebate applies is cheaper than at the egg.
