Tons of errors - Can't burn with any software

Hey Guys:

I've got a Plextor PX-716A. It was working fine and then one day it just stopped burning. I get errors with Imgburn, Shrink, Blindwrite and Nero. It does work, it plays movies. It just won't burn.

Here are the errors I have gotten:

BlindWrite: Write error at 16 (16) - Code 05 24 00 [Illegal Request Invalid field in CDB]

ImgBurn : Invalid field in the CDB

I'm sure Nero says the same thing but I didn't want to waste space here posting the whole Log.

So how do I correct this???

1. drive is dying?
2. drive is dirty?
3. bad batch of media?
4. sonic filters are corrupt?
5, possible weak power supply?

when something is copied to the clipboard then it's the same as the copy command
