Audio Cd Burn problem..please help!

Hey everyone, I'm have a problem with my Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-109RZ burner. I have only had it for a few months so it shouldn't need replaceing. It burns DvD's no problem, but when I try to burn an audio Cd (Any burning software) it gives me Burn Failed error. I have tried several diffarant blanks none work. But here's the wierd part, 1 out of 10 times it will burn sucessfuly... Tried updateing drivers, reinstaling the burner, and even swaping the cables with my DvD Rom. Anyone have a suggestion, I'm open! Thanks in advanced!

have you tried some sony disks and burning at 16x? cd's

Yeah I have tried sony and burning at all burn speeds. Anything else?

not your exact drive but a bad sign for pioneer
