Some of you might have read and some will know my DVD recorder shut down the other day over a corrupted DVD+RW disc. This is over a different issue. My DVD recorder is fine after leaving it unplugged from the main all night back then. I put the same disc in my PC and when Cyberlink PowerDVD loaded and started playing a TV program, I shut Cyberlink PowerDVD off and the disc was still spinning. I erased the disc with the quick scan and after it ejected, the disc was still spinning as an empty disc and the same after I did a full erase. All I get is my D-Drive flashing at me where the disc is always spinning even when it's blank. Is there a way to erase the other remaining problem even though a full erase should have done it. The disc isn't dusty or marked in any way, it's in mint condition. I don't want to throw it away because it can be used again and again etc over a solution if anyone knows. Another reason why I don't want to trash the disc is because it's an Imation disc that I mostly get on with and I always have done for years. It's a Imation DVD+RW 4X. I know the speed of it is slow but they mostly work wonders with patients of waiting for burning and they dub quick in a DVD recorder.
Many thanks.
