another alternative
If you like shell extensions another alternative is Ultimate Zip
When using it in the normal way there's a nag screen. But for rar files,
set the Options=>Configuration=>Explorer Shell Extension and check
Extract To Here. Then you can drag & drop the first rar file with the
right mouse button to extract it in another folder. There's no nag
screen on the shell extension.
If a rar file is missing the pop up error dialog is in German but it's
not difficult to figure out what the error is.Comment

Are these individual rar files or are you talking about a large download that's broken up into a series name001.rar name002.rar etc?? Hard for us to guess what you've got.Comment
