I know that Chewy will know the answer. Is there a way or software that will allow on shut down to go through processes one at a time until the error window shows up. I am getting a small window on shut down just for a brief second or less. So I am not able to read the error message window. Time for bed just just nodded off and like 20 lines of lower case i.

Have you thought of closing each process at a time via process explorer?

If it needs a shutdown message to trigger it one thing you may try is
asking around on AutoIt3 forum. You may be able to find or come up
with a 2 line script that sends a system shutdown message to a window.
Then try it on each app you suspect.
Here's the forum:
AutoIt3 takes only slightly more time to install than something like CCleaner.
It comes with a Window Info tool so that you can get the class names of open windows. Makes it easier to figure out how to send a message to the particular window.Comment

Chewy that is possible. The only problem is that it is only on the screen just long enough to see that it is there. It is displayed a mater of maybe a micro second, and there is the windows error ding. It is possible that is maybe a program that is not shutting down fast enough. I will explore the other possibilities. Miles I will also check out the web site, and see what I can come up with. Thanks to all.Star Baby Girl, Born March,1997 Died June 30th 2007 6:35 PM.Comment
