    Autoplay not working

    Greetings
I have two Dvd drives the oldest not a year/half old.I burn copys of my movies ok,but neither will play any disk I put in( even fresh store bought).
I can explore a disk and pick a file and play it,but not the whole movie.I have Windows Media player & nero 7 player neither works. I have gone into 'control panel' and have selected AUTOPLAY ...Nogo.I have downloaded klcodec I'll give that a try but I think something basic is missing. Is there something I should be looking for to reset so I can watch my movies on my computer.
Thanks for all the advice in the past.

Try VLC player. In Media Menu choose Open Disc. It has a setting if the disc has menus(the default) or not. It will run the menus also.

Once you install a program like powerdvd that has the decoder builtin and loads it in windows then almost any media player will play factory dvd's

      VLC has it's own
