    Gforce Video Card

I am looking at changing my wife's video card. The Computer has a Gforce 7300 video card. I am looking at 2 9400 Gforce video cards. The first card has 512k of memory and the price is $49.99. The other card has 1gig of memory and the price is $64.99. I am leaning towards the card that has 1 gig of memory. It will give better perform ace for playing Wow.

I wouldn't think that having 1 GB of memory would help in this situation, since only the fastest 3D games (with high res textures) would require 1 GB, and you'll probably need a faster card to be able to get smooth framerates anyway

Going by the Newegg prices, you can get a 9500 GT for $50 (512 MB), or if you are looking to spend $60+, a 9600 GT, which has much better 3D performance (about 70% faster than the 9500 GT) - it's currently $99.99 at Newegg but has a $30 mail-in rebate offer. The Radeon HD 4670 for $79.99 will be faster than the 9600 GT, but it won't play anything the 9600 GT won't play (although ATI cards offer better Blu-ray playback acceleration). WoW won't require much in terms of GPU power anyway (9500 GT should do fine at even 1600x1200, provided you don't use AA).

This link compares performances of all 3 cards in Call of Duty 4 and Crysis:
