3 Softwares & 3 Different Size Output of Same CD?

    Hi folks,

I need some of the experts' explanation here ...

I was testing these 3 Softwares ("Alcohol Soft" - "BlindWrite" - "CloneCD")
to see which is best. All Trial Versions but they say they are the same as Full version except have 15 day or 21 day Trial period. btw, I used the most current versions.

I backed up the CD as an Image ... each Software provides it's own Format (for example: .ccd, or .B6I, ...) with the Exception of "Alcohol Soft" that permits you to back up to any of the Formats ...even to the Competitors format ...so right off the back I say "Alcohol Soft" WINS since gives you the most Flexibility with Formats.

Here is my Question ... WHY would I get different size Image output with all these 3 softwares?

I used all 3 softwares in their Default Mode!

    Alcohol Soft:
    Image1.iso ------- 476,282 KB

    CloneCD:
    Image1.ccd ------- 1 KB
    Image1.img ------- 546,981 KB
    Image1.sub ------- 22,326 KB
    So Total = 569,308 KB

    BlindWrite:
    Image1.B6I ------- 569,665 KB
    Image1.B6T ------- 1 KB
    So Total = 569,666 KB

Why would "Alcohol Soft" (btw I tried the 52% version) output be so much lower than the other two. But for your info all 3 have the same data on them I checked them.

So ... that is where my confusion is!!!

    Thanks,

    G!
