Internet Explorer 8

Anyone have complaints about IE8? I haven't downloaded it yet, but curious if anyone has problems or complaints.

Current OS is Vista 64.

no problems, u may have to use compatibility mode often for many sites that are made to non standards... thus wont open correctly.

IE7 didnt run on standards and many sites were made for that browser, IE8 is strictly built on web standards thus many sites wont play good.

Does that happen transparently or do you have to turn compatibility mode on and off manually?

if u think the page ur opened is not visible or working correctly u can click the compatibility button and it will refresh the page in ie7 mode thus the page will come up correct

Ah right. That might be worth testing then.

It would be too much of an annoyance for me otherwise.

Some people have told me they had no problems but I did. It made my e-mail window expand and shrink non-stop and my cursor was going mad all over the place. I did this to my Google e-mail address and a GTA 4 forum but it doesn't with Hotmail e-mails.
