for some reason my dvd burner drive doesnt recognize the dvd in the drive i thought it might be that particular dvd so i tried another to the same results if anyone can help me out thatd be awesome ty

Sorry, we cant help with DVD Shrink - see rule 19.
But this sounds hardware related. You might need a new drive.

I have a machine that for some reason every now and again you pop a pre-recorded DVD into the machine and certain pieces of software do not see it as a DVD. However if I launch PowerDVD or another DVD playing program, start to play it, it becomes fully functional with all my dvd related software. I have never had any trouble with blank media though.
