Ok, I wasn't sure if this was the right forum to post this in, but here it goes. I am running IE 7. I just installed Nero 9. I now can't open MPG, WMV or MPEG files directly from the internet.
What used to happen is I would click on the video and Windows Media Player would open and play the clip. Now what happens is I click the file and IE tries to open a new web page that says, the web page can not be displayed. (No kidding, it's a video file)
I've checked the file association and it still says the .mpg, .mpeg and .wmv files are used by Media Player. I've also checked the default setting for media player and those are are still set up good. I'm not sure what else to do.
If I save the clip to the hard drive, they open Media Player and play fine.
Any suggestions?
