What version of MBAM do you have now? Most current is "1.36"!

Instead of updating ... uninstall > restart PC > install MBAM 1.36 > then use it's updater and see what happens!

Not second guessing you ... just "curious" how in the world You "always" hit the problem on the head! BTW, What is the name of this Infection?
