    use security policy to stop annoying apps

    Here's a link to a description how to use security policy to prevent annoying programs from running. To have local security policy editor you need Business or higher version of Vista or W7. Since the W7 beta/7077/whatever are Ultimate, it's there. I just used it to make sure wmplayer.exe stays popped down!!



    If you have Home Premium Vista like I do then you have to rely on one of those automatic application kill utilities instead.

      Yeah, well download and try was a lot more fun before all these viruses. Used to be the biggest problem was if your phone line would stay connected long enough to get the whole download.
