    microsoft security essential

    this time around microsoft made a better anti vir product and also free too, suppose tobe on par with top 5 brands including avira, avast, avg.
    its also resource light, so u can try it they just started a limited beta.
    it doesnt have any annoying avira popups.

    Seems like as soon you buy somehing, v. 2 comes out 1.5 times as fast!..!

                anyone still using avira / avast / avg pls check ur memory usage, it doesnt seem that light of resourses. i mean system startup is quick and application starts in a zap, but total 48 mb in usage.?

                        I agree with your comments because it a part of geniune operating system where it can easily update if it is geniune. And there are essential tools can be download from the official website to secure Windows.
