I remember that HP case, when I worked at Geek Squad, I hated to work on the HPs. They were pain in the ass to remove the media bay. Just to be able to get to the hard drive.Star Baby Girl, Born March,1997 Died June 30th 2007 6:35 PM.Comment

Read my mind.
I was going to post the same thing regarding Hijack This. Except calling it Hijack This Thread. Lol... It happens inadvertently sometimes. at least it's by the Regulars and we get a lil something out of it.SAMSUNG SH-S203B, SAMSUNG SH-S223F,

Hmmmm, I owned a couple of Pentium 4s that had HTT. They kept getting hot and locking up until I found the "Easter Egg" to get to the BIOS settings with the fan controls. Glad I'm not messing with that anymore!! When the fans bumped up it sounded like somebody was vacuuming the carpet.Comment

My Dell has a pentium 4 and that htt. Never locked on me though because of that. I don't even bother w/the fan controls in Bios. Most noisy thing I have is the 500W psu from cooler master I got for about 39.99 or so from Newegg. It sounds like a vacuum just a lil lower. The audibles in the city though cancel out how it would actually sound.
I've gone modular ever since w/a Corsair HX 620W. Silent as a bumble bee and graduates itself also. Another great breakthrough that should of come years ago. Giving you the option of how many power cables to use is a Godsend.SAMSUNG SH-S203B, SAMSUNG SH-S223F,

The way they have is set up in my quad core is weird. When I'm doing video conversion with the 4 cores maxed out, when it triggers the fan speed increase, they bump up for a fraction of a second, or a couple of seconds, then slow back down. Sounds kind of like when a hurricane is whipping around your house. It sounds just like those wind gusts. Really freaky. It does the job without me configuring anything though.Comment
