Can't save as iso file

Hi Everyone,
I am completely computer illiterate so please can u dumb it down for me... I recently bought a new laptop with Windows Vista installed (yes, i know it sucks) and i can't save as iso file in DVD Shrink, it saves as video_ts and audio_ts. Then when i go to rip in DVD Decrypter it will burn video_ts but obviously won't play in a DVD player. I never had a problem with XP. Can someone please tell me where to start looking to fix this? or alternatively where to download a free coverter?

If you want to create an ISO, use ImgBurn.
