Hello,
I am unable to use DVDShrink because it starts the preview of the movie which is not working on my configuration. This problem is particular to my laptop and it's not so much DVDShrink but the way my laptop/Windows goes into full screen mode whenever I play a movie. To not confuse anybody I will try to list the specifics:
- the laptop screen died some time ago, so I added an external monitor - it works fine most of the time
- when I try to watch a movie with Power DVD, etc. the monitor goes automatically in Full-Screen mode, and I can't even control the movie playback except Alt-F4 or Ctrl-W (for internet TV) to close the player
- I try to burn a movie using DVDShrink, but when the program starts I get just a black full screen image and only works
- I suspect the above is caused by DVDShrink trying to preview the movie which triggers the full screen mode (even if the movie doesn't play, it's blank)
- the laptop is a Toshiba Satelite, video card Nvidia GeForce Go 6600, using Windows XP
The question is if there is a way to disable the Preview feature - in a config file, registry, etc.?
Or is there a way to stop windows from going to full screen when playing videos? (but I know it's not the subject of this forum)
Thank you,
Indy
