    File Association

    I'm new to this, and hope i'm in the right forum.
    I'm getting this "stop sign" - This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Set Association Control Panel. How could I go about doing this?

          My mistake should have put my operating system in the Info. i am running Windows Vista
