    Display Properties

    I just bought a new laptop with Windows 7 and my screen does a darker shade when it's been idle for about two minutes and then it goes blank until I use the mouse. I went in Display Properties to change the length of time for my laptop to do this and I can't find the setting. Can somebody help me, please?

          Click on the battery in the sys tray and it will let you adjust the settings accordingly.
