    Scrambled Picture Quality

Before I bought a new PC, I could watch videos from You Tube and Facebook fine. I used Windows XP then. With my new PC that has Windows 7, some of the videos play back with scrambled picture quality at You Tube and Facebook and the scrambled picture quality has green, red and blue marks all over the screen with moving lines and moving blobs and when the picture quality is clear it lags very badly with some videos when the scrambling clears for a moment. With the lagging, parts of the footage moves fine with most of the screen and parts such as somebody moving their arms doesn't where some parts can't keep up the pace. What can I do to fix this?

    Many thanks.

I don't have any experience with tube or facebook. But one thing you could try is Sharks codec pack. If you follow the directions it will cleanly uninstall. You can try it, and if it doesn't do the job, it will put things back how it found them.

I use the corresponding codec pack on Vista64 and Windows Seven 32 bit and I haven't run into any problems other than some setting needed to be changed.
