I plan to upgrade to Windows 7 from Windows XP Pro, and I want to back up/Export all my FlipVideo (MPEG-4 format) videos to an external hard drive so I can restore them in Windows 7 after the upgrade (a clean install actually)...
However, the FlipVideo software on my PC says, "...when [the videos] are exported, they are not moved; an exact copy is made and the original stays in your Navigation Pane."
Well, if I'm going to reformat my HD prior to installing Windows 7, there won't be any originals left on the HD!
How can I get past this proprietary hangup and back up my FlipVideo files so I can restore them later in Windows 7?
Thanks for any feedback!
