How to unlock smart phone?

I just received my new smart phone, but it's locked. Can you help me to unlock it? I will be deeply grateful.

try going to the store where you bought that..im sure they know how to unlock your smart phone. maybe that service is for free if you really go to the store where you bought your phone. looking for someone to unlock your phone will be very expensive.


and by the way,,,,im thinking of going back to college...any thoughts?

Unlock the carrier so that you can use it on other networks, or unlock as in rooting and allowing your phone to do more?
