Help Needed Please

Hi,I was using the Card Recovery v5.30 build 1206 (evaluation version) to recover deleted pictures on a memory card!
something happened during the scan process, after step 2 and I had to close the programme.
Anyway I'm left now with all the temroary pictures, which have the "~CR" extention and I can't open them!
eg. files look like this. Temporary_v5_File0001_JPG.~cr
Is there a tool that allows me to decode those files and be able to review them?

In explorer select Temporary_v5_File0001_JPG.~cr or similar file and press F2 function key. Press the End key and backspace out the .~cr part and leave the .JPG as the extension. Double click this .JPG and see if it opens in a graphics program. If it does, use a file rename tool to remove all the .~cr extensions.
