New Forum Feature: in-bilt spill chucker :)

It was long overdue, but I've finally added an in-built spell checker to the forum. You can now run a spell check on all your new posts or replies, and even while editing.

Instructions:

1. Type in the new post as you would normally
2. Before you press submit the new post, click on the "ABC" spell check button to run a spell check on your post, see screenshot:



3. Make any suggested corrections, and then submit your post normally.

The spell checker users a pop-up window, so if you have a pop-up blocker, then it won't work. And also don't expect all the words to be corrected - it will correct most spelling errors, but it can miss some too.

If you run into any problems, please post them here.

My misspelled words are underlined I guess by my browser...I can right click on the underlined word and choose from various suggestions and correct spellings depending on the word. I use Firefox BTW.

I couldnt believe that I could actually understand what I was reading. The phenomenal power of the human mind according to a research at Cambridge University, it doesn’t matter in what order the letters in a word are, the only important thing is that the first and the last letter be in the right place. The rest can be a total mess and you can still read it without a problem. This is amazing because the human mind does not read every letter by itself but the word as a whole. Amazing huh? Yeah and I always thought spelling was important!! If you can read it forward it.

If you can read this, your brain is 50% faster than those who can’t

You would have to thank blu for making that joke, because the original thread title was "in-build spell checker", which was wrong too but not as meant to be a joke, although I would have explained that it was a joke if people had pointed it out.
