Since Microsoft(annual revenues 50 bil US$) has some very deep pockets like Sony, they too can subsidize a format(HD-DVD)
what data stream rate does a hd-dvd put out? -
1x HD DVD is rated at 36 Mbps. I think the Xbox 360 drive (a Toshiba SD-S802A drive, actually, with USB 2.0 connection) is rated at 2x, which is the minimum required for movie playback.Comment
