    Scary. Can the home user be affected on their own pc, or is this just at the server level?

      with 6-15 million computer infected or in the botnet(home machines/work machines)

        I see...well, DOS attacks are bad for everyone, no one is immune in a case like that.

          DoS attacks have taken down a lot of big stuff for a few hours or days, trivial stuff like the stock market, major banking or just somebody like steve gibson that ticked off a 13 year old by using the term "script kiddie"

          If you can't maintain a clean computer, you have no business on it or the internet, you are a security risk to us all.
