Don't forget that $129 also gets you 6 free HD DVD movies (King Kong included in the box). There's really no reason not to buy this add-on drive if you have an Xbox 360 already, especially one with HDMI output. And it doubles as a HD DVD-ROM drive (connected through the USB 2.0 interface), allowing you to playback HD DVDs on your computer (if you have the required hardware) - you won't be able to buy a HD DVD reader drive for such a low price.
