    Copyright Battle May Cover Your Trash Can

    Don’t even think about tossing that promo CD in the trash just yet. There’s a copyright battle brewing, and word from the trenches says throwing away a CD from a Universal Music Group artist bearing a promo label could be seen as “unauthorized distribution,” i.e. piracy.

      I actually found some good stuff that way

      And I don't think I did anything illegal by picking up promo discs found in trash cans, did I?
