Can the Sony PS3 be a Nintendo Wii as well?

It’s an interesting question to ask if the Sony PS3 can be a Nintendo Wii as well, while Sony would not be able to steal technology, they could do similar things and with some new software and a Wii-Remote-Like accessory, the PS3 could be a Wii.

I love how people say the Wii sucks but then other companies try to copy it. Why would you want to copy something that sucks?

(I'm a Nintendo fanboy - all I have is N64/GameCube/Wii so I have nothing else to compare to really)
