The MPAA doesn't want you to pick your cable stations

The MPAA has warned the FCC against allowing cable subscribers a la carte pricing for their cable channels. This was done in reaction to several consumer rights groups feeling that the current bundling method of pricing was against the spirit of the First Amendment.

I would love a la carte programming. Out of the 250 channels I get only around 15 are actually watched. I hope the MPAA doesn't try borking us even more.

Yeah, I agree. I wish we could pay for the standard 100 cable channels, but "mix and match" to fill that space.

what is need is start contacting your congressmen and voice your choice on having the FCC to change their ruling on having an ala carte choice. Or start a petition.
