For the first time, the studio is including a standard edition DVD copy of a film along with the Blu-ray. Both the Blu-ray and the two-disc Platinum Edition DVD will be available on Tuesday, October 7.
I remember when the BDA (possibly Disney themselves) ridiculed the idea of HD DVD combos and said it was unnecessary.
