We bring home all the $$$ still ? Been that way for centuries, so common sense we buying the bulk of Blu-ray. Besides we love action, especially when it's enhanced.

I think this is more to do with demographic of people who are buying Blu-ray players at the moment, ie. mostly PS3 owners. And who buys PS3? Guys, of course.

Also, the kind of movies that benefit most from Blu-ray are action/sci-fi flicks and that's what people are buying. A chick flick would benefit less from Blu-ray.

With DVDs, the ratio is a lot closer to 50:50, and this is why supermarkets have started selling DVDs as well.

Like I suggested the $$$. And of course the demographics, but we're laying down the dough. Pretty sure there's a women right by that man watching a lot of those action flics as well. The more things change the more they remain the same.
