Apple strikes DRM-free deal with big four music labels

Apple has reportedly signed a deal with all four of the major music labels to sell DRM-free tracks via iTunes.

Now confirmed, Apple drops DRM on April 1st (hope it's not a trick)

LOL at the date... wanna bet it IS a trick?

But hm. I've spent somewhere between $100-200 now in iTunes purchases, it would be nice if they let me re-download them DRM-free without paying again (like the smallish fee to upgrade to iTunes+).
Or I can continue to feel like the bad guy converting them as usual...
