Panasonic's THX-Certified Stunner Takes the Plasma Screen Crown

Dry your eyes, plasma junkies. The untimely demise of Pioneer's Kuro line doesn't mean you'll have to forgo those deliciously deep blacks and theater-perfect colors for long. In fact, even as the last of the Pioneer Kuro Elites make their way into a few lucky U.S. homes, a new lineup of HDTV sets are already poised to seize the plasma king's vacant throne.

At $1300 for a 42" model it isn't cheap, but for plasma fans, this is good news.

That is still not a bad price for a plasma. Hopefully it will be just as good as the Pioneer plasmas were.

we bought a 42" Panny Plasma 3 yrs ago and friends still say it's the best HD they have ever seen...[imagine, 1 HDMI input lol]
so I assume these new lines will blow people away..

[our Comcast cable was re-installed just before we bought the plasma so I'm sure a perfect clean signal was also a plus..
many homes still have original cable wire from 30 yrs ago...
when u buy a new HD TV you should call cable company to test your signal as many complaints about that new tv is not the problem..
It's a weaker cable signal in home and at the [pole] or junction..
