Oppo, the company famous for releasing high end DVD upscalers for low end prices (well, relatively) has released its first Blu-ray player (BDP-83), previewed a bit here a few months ago.
The player superior video processing, (obviously) excellent DVD upscaling, SACD, DVD-Audio. It is a Profile 2.0 player, so it has Ethernet connections, as well as 2 USB ports. And it also has 7.1 Analogue audio output.
The only things missing are video streaming (such as Netflix support) and it is not Blu-ray region-free out of the box, but there's a beta firmware floating around that may give you this (http://www.avforums.com/forums/blu-r...ee-thread.html - this thread also has links to an extensive user review and FAQs).
