To help spur growth in the sale of videos on iTunes, and to help out the iPad, Apple is in talks with major TV networks to reduce the price of TV shows on sale on iTunes from $1.99 per show to 99 cents.
Apples hopes that by reducing pricing, this will help increase sales and make video a larger part of iTunes revenue.
TV networks are said to be resistant to the move, but some have already agreed in principle to reduce prices.
