British online retailer Play has published what is believed to be the Kinect technical specifications and apparently only two players can play the controller-less motion tracking system at any one time.
However, the camera based device can track up to six players, so it would allow four or even six player gaming as people step in and step out of the 57 degree vision field of the camera.
The PS3 Move will allow four player simultaneous play, but only if they are all only using the single wand accessory, as the wand and the "nunchuck" Navigator accessory count as two separate wireless devices, and the PS3 only supports a maximum of 7 connections, including any existing controllers or remote devices. So games requiring the Navigator or requiring two wand controllers will not support 4 player simultaneous play either.
