There was an article written about two months ago that disclosed that the protection of such CDs is easily defeated by simply darkening the outer track with a black felt tip marking pen - much to Sony's dismay (Sony spent/paid millions for the development of this protection scheme)...

yea get this program called clone cd. Its a program for "backing up your music and games" that have copy protection. Its only a 30 day trial but you can find the serial online.

                    To Deus

The nature of this new CD protection precludes using CD copying software, because the "fake" Track 1 prevents your player/burner from "seeing" the CD...

(By the way, my initial post on this topic should have referred to the INNERMOST track, rather than the OUTERMOST track)

i have clonecd and i always copy my cd's with it and have no problem. but,

im talking about those music cd's that simply wont get readen by your cd-writer.... you put it in, and the drive will be trying to read it for a few times and then he just spits it out again....

on the cover it also says 'this cd will not play on pc/mac'

but there must be a way to get them copied... but how?

As i mentioned (and modified) in my previous posts:

                            Read the following article:

                              hmmm....

I tried that but didn't work, and it was a highly encrypted CD too.

The software I used to rip it, didn't work, it crashed on me all the time, and I used over 4-7 different rippers.

maybe this one is slightly different(?)
