startup list

this might be simple i dont know, but need the help how do i delete startup items which i no longer wants or the software isnt on my computer. i know how to switch them off, (msconfig) and stuff but how do i delete them?? if sum1 wud be so kind to help!! cheers

Well, try to install some of "tweaking" programs, or, try the jv reg cleaner. It allows you to edit the registry and to remove entries from startup, etc, etc. Find it on www.jv16.org

I got an easier way. Just go to run and type in msconfig

I don't know if that will make any difference, but that is what I always do.

The dude said he knows how to not make it start-up with msconfig

Open up regedit and browse to Hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\currentversi on\run
from there just delete any strings you no longer want.
