Well I just reformated again. I have forgoten how quicky XP started up on an empty harddrive. Thanks god I didn't have to do it to my storage server. I would cry. This one is the Comp that I use for playback and surfing here. I got a trojan that yes. Deleted more than half of the needed system files. Damn bast@r|s

One wonders what you do with your system.
I don't usually format until after I have used the current Windows installation after at least 7 months. I like all things running fast and stable.

hmmmm...my firewall has been telling me some hacker's been trying to break in on me...been getting warning messages that attempts have been defeated 4-5 times a day for the past 3 weeks.Comment

i dont know whats worse. The fact youve spent soo much time reformating or the fact that you counted! lol sux u got a virus thou. i update norton everynight and scan all my downloads.Comment

ZAP gave me the above addy...but I have to pay another $19 for their "essential tools" in order to send a package to the perpetrator and fry his HD. The event was described as a "port scan trying to find unprotected web servers".Comment

Even if you can locate the IP, it may only be the IP of an innocent victim's PC which is also being used to perpetrate these PC "attacks".Comment
