According to this article the upcoming PSX will be loaded with a dvd-recorder and tv tuner. In case you're wondering, yes you can still play games on the PSX.

I'd advise you drive to teh sperm/blood banks now as to let the money start collecting interest ASAP.

Sony has demonstrated that it is capable of selling hardware at a loss in order to mass-market its gaming platform.

I somehow doubt that the PSX will be highly overpriced, as the price of dvd writers and tv tuner cards are falling rapidly. Aside from the hardware, the software (Game titles) offers extensive revenue for Sony.

Some thoughts for you to think about while your on your way to the nearest blood/sperm bank

It sounds like it will be a pretty cool gaming system. Too bad they don't tell you what kind of hardware components they used for the prototype (such as CPU)

Actually, sperm banks are a quite good source of money! Not that i would know, just heard

I donated both my kidney's.. Hey I didn't need them anyways.
I also donated my left ear since I am deaf in it anyways

the PSX looks cool is my opnion. it suits the colour scheme (white/silver) of Sonys home entertainment product range, such as TV's and DVD Players.

It would defintely look good in my setup as i have a white sony wega triniton tv and a white sony dvd player.

However i wouldn't purchase it for my living room as i already have a good setup. But it would be a good all in one entertainment package (apart from no popcorn or beer with it).

About the CPU, i thought it would be the same as the PS2 cos its the ps2 + hard drive + tv tuner.

I am assuming Sony would have upgraded the processor (however I am just speculating). Secondly, the PSX also includes a DVD-WRITER
